After a successful first year promotion, Global Spectrum, operator of historic Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, will bring back its biggest contest ever to award one lucky winner with a pair of tickets to every event at the legendary venue for one year as part of its “Chairman of the Boardwalk” sweepstakes. The four-week contest begins on Tuesday, April 28 at 2 p.m.
The winner will receive two tickets to every event scheduled for Boardwalk Hall beginning with the DraftKings Boardwalk Bowl: Philadelphia Soul vs. Las Vegas Outlaws arena football game on Saturday, May 30, 2015 and concluding on Memorial Day 2016. All entries must be received no later than Tuesday, May 26 at 12 p.m. Fans who are interested in entering the “Chairman of the Boardwalk” sweepstakes should visit www.boardwalkhall.com. Since the website’s redesign in October of 2014, www.boardwalkhall.com has been visited by more than 165,000 users. In addition to the website, the contest will be promoted through Boardwalk Hall’s three main social media outlets, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, using official hashtag #IWantToBeChairman.
Last year, Glen Butterworth of Stratford, NJ was the winner of Global Spectrum’s first-ever Chairman of the Boardwalk sweepstakes. Butterworth received a pair of tickets to every event at Boardwalk Hall and a hotel room from Caesars Atlantic City for each event night from Memorial Day 2014 through Memorial Day 2015. Of his experience, Butterworth said, “It has been really cool. Mostly every month there would be a weekend or two where my girlfriend and I would go down to Atlantic City to see a free concert, sporting event, or show and it was always good time. I don’t think I could pick one event that was my absolute favorite because I really liked all of the events I went to for different reasons because each event has been so drastically different. You expect concerts and sporting events, but the fact that you can see indoor car racing at the same place you can see a hockey game is really cool. My advice to the next Chairman of the Boardwalk is to take advantage of the summer coming up. It’s going to be a great experience being able to enjoy the beach and the boardwalk while attending all of the great upcoming summer shows at Boardwalk Hall.”
This year’s winner of “The Chairman of the Boardwalk” sweepstakes will receive two tickets to the following Boardwalk Hall events:
DraftKings Boardwalk Bowl: Philadelphia Soul vs. Las Vegas Outlaws: May 30
Romeo Santos: June 26
The Eagles: July 17
Chayanne: August 8
Madonna: October 3
Ricky Martin: October 17
Any unannounced upcoming event taking place between May 30, 2015 and May 30, 2016
Additionally, the winner will be entitled to a free parking spot at Boardwalk Hall for each event.
